Carrie Crawford

Carrie Crawford is an evolving dancer and actress from the greater Atlanta area who has been dancing since the age of 9. She has trained in various styles including Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Lyrical. Following high school, Carrie furthered her dance education at Georgia College & State University (GC&SU) and the American Dance Festival. Since then she has danced as a member of Amazing Grace Dance Company under Artistic director Kenya Griffin and served as a dance instructor at dance studios in the metro Atlanta area and her church. This year she has had the privilege of appearing in “Chiaroscuro,” A ballet directed by Otis Sallid at the Modern Atlanta Dance Festival. In addition to dancing, she recently evolved into the acting world making her debut in Flyin West by Pearl Cleage, with the Etheridge Arts Ensemble.

Carrie is a certified and licensed Occupational Therapist. In her spare time, she loves to be outdoors or shopping.  One of her favorite quotes is as follows: “Knowing is not enough, we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do.” –Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
